♪ On the tenth day of Cookiemas, I made for you to eat:
furikake mac nut, 9 vanillekipferl, 8 ate‘s cookies, 7 madeleines, 6 almond cookies,
4 Alfajores, calamansi crinkles, ube coconuts
and a choc chip walnut cookie ♪
A careful observer would notice this is the same recipe as Day 1 of Cookiemas: Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie but just swapping the chocolate chips for white chocolate and the walnuts for macadamia nuts.
Ingredients
- 191.5g (1 1/2 cups) bread flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 113g (1/2 cup) butter, browned butter will make it taste better!
- 130g (1/2 cup) brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 100g (3/4 cup) white chocolate chips
- 50g (1/2 cup) unsalted macadamia nuts
- furikake for garnish
Directions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter and brown sugar until a uniform paste is achieved. I suggest cutting the butter into smaller pads to make mixing easier. Next, add the egg and mix again until uniform. If you have brown butter (like I did) use it to make these cookies taste better!
2. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix until a cookie dough is formed. Finally, add the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts and mix until evenly distributed.
3. Shape and place on a baking sheet lined with plastic wrap. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.

4. Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove cookies from fridge and place on a baking sheet lines with parchment paper. Sprinkle with furikake
5. Bake in 350°F oven for 12 – 15 minutes. If cookie dough is frozen, bake for 18 – 20 minutes.
