Peanut Butter & Jelly Grilled Cheese (Day 2 of Bread Challenge)

Day 2 of the 30 day bread series! In this one, I use my previously baked Pandan Pandesal Loaf to create a nutty grilled cheese!. This peanut butter and jelly grilled cheese recipe might be the easiest recipe on this entire website and it is exactly what you would expect. Ingredients

For one sandwich:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • peanut butter
  • jelly (choose your favorite flavor)
  • 1 or 2 slices american yellow cheese
  • 1 handful of mozzarella cheese (optional). You can use any cheese you like or skip this
  • 1 pad of butter for “grilling” in a frying pan

Directions

1. Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread.

2. Spread jelly on the other slice of bread

3. Add cheese to either slice or a little on both

4. Stack loaded bread slices into sandwich form and “grill” on a buttered frying pan on the stove

5. Enjoy!

Peanut Butter and Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  • fruit jelly
  • 1 or 2 slices american yellow cheese
  • 1 handful mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • 1 pad of butter for "grilling" in a frying pan

Instructions
 

  • Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread
  • Spread jelly on the other slice of bread
  • Add cheese to either slice or a little on both slices
  • Stack loaded bread slices into sandwich form and “grill” on a buttered frying pan on the stove for about 2 minutes each side until cheese is melted and preferred toast level has been achieved
