Coconut Condensed Milk

As many of you may know, I am lactose intolerant. This Coconut Condensed Milk recipe helps me avoid the stomach pains yet enjoy the sweetness!

This simple recipe only has two ingredients. Just make sure to carefully watch while boiling so it doesn’t boil over!


  • 1 can or box of coconut milk. (13.5 fl. oz or 400 ml)
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar


1. In a medium sauce pan on low heat, pour the sugar and coconut milk.

2. Continue cooking over low heat stirring frequently so that the sugar does not burn.

3. Remove from heat once it has reduced to about half the beginning volume,

4. Store in a clean vessel and use it with anything you would use condensed milk
