Super tasty and easy ground beef recipe! I use this often when I've got extra ground beef in the fridge

Servings: 4 people

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 shallots or ½ an onion
  • 4 small potatoes
  • ~14 baby carrots sliced
  • ½ cup peas
  • 1 lbs ground beef
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce Cholula brand
  • salt & pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cube the potatoes and chop the carrots into bite sized pieces. Mince garlic and slice shallots/onions
  2. In a large pot, heat up some oil and toss in the garlic and shallots. Fry these until aromatic and slighly browned.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until no longer raw.
  4. Add the potatoescarrots, tomato saucefish saucehot saucesalt, and pepper. Mix this all up and cover. Simmer until potatoes and carrots are soft.
  5. Finally, add the peas. Turn off the heat once the peas are hot.
  6. Serve with rice!

Notes

In the video, I double this recipe. If you're doing that too, I recommend using one can of tomato sauce (per recipe) and then 1 can of diced tomatoes.
