Method
- Cube the potatoes and chop the carrots into bite sized pieces. Mince garlic and slice shallots/onions
- In a large pot, heat up some oil and toss in the garlic and shallots. Fry these until aromatic and slighly browned.
- Add the ground beef and cook until no longer raw.
- Add the potatoes, carrots, tomato sauce, fish sauce, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix this all up and cover. Simmer until potatoes and carrots are soft.
- Finally, add the peas. Turn off the heat once the peas are hot.
- Serve with rice!
Notes
In the video, I double this recipe. If you're doing that too, I recommend using one can of tomato sauce (per recipe) and then 1 can of diced tomatoes.
