Coconut Condensed Milk

Combine coconut milk and sugar to make a dairy-free condensed milk
Cook Time 20 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (13.5 fl.oz.) coconut milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Method
 

  1. In a medium sauce pan on low heat, pour the sugar and coconut milk.
  2. Continue cooking over low heat stirring frequently so that the sugar does not burn.
  3. Remove from heat once it has reduced to about half the beginning volume
  4. Store in a clean vessel and use it with anything you would use condensed milk
