Salted Egg Waffle

Basic waffle with a nice salty surprise

Ingredients
  

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 salted egg

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the dry batter ingredients: all purpose floursugarsalt. and baking powder.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the two eggs. When thoroughly scrambled, add the vanilla extractoil, and milk and mix until well combined.
  • Slowly introduce the dry ingredients into the wet. Once you’ve mixed all the ingredients into a uniform mixture, your simple waffle batter is complete!
  • In a heated waffle iron, pour in your batter. add 2 to 3 slices of salted egg. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes until waffle reaches a rich golden brown.
  • Serve and enjoy!
