Start by preparing the instant noodles. In a pot, bring water to a boil and drop in your noodles. Let them boil about 1 to 2 minutes until al dente. Strain and remove from heat.
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg as well as the flavor packets from the instant noodle package.
Dredge the cooked noodles in the egg and seasoning solution and drop them on the hot waffle iron. Close the waffle iron and let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes until it reaches a brown color and has a bit of a crispy crust.
