Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound raw shrimp defrosted and preferably peeled
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 bulb garlic
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • parsley dried, to taste
  • 1 slice lemon to taste

Instructions
 

  • Peel and slice the bulb of garlic. You can prep the garlic to any size you like: minced, diced, sliced, etc.
  • In a large saucepan, begin melting the butter over low to medium heat.
  • When about half the stick of butter is melted, add the sliced garlic and let the garlic fry.
  • Add in the shrimp. Then add salt, pepper, and parsley to taste. Cook the shrimp until it is cooked throughout, about 5 minutes. You can tell the shrimp is cooke when the center is fully white with no translucency. Personally, I hate overcooked shrimp to the point where I prefer undercooked shrimp.
  • When finished cooking, remove the shrimp from heat. Serve and garnish with a bit of freshly squeeze lemon juice.
