Ingredients
1
pound
beef
thinly sliced. chuck or ribeye suggested
4
large
eggs
2
cups
cooked
white rice
8 - 10
florets
of
broccoli
1
tablespoon
sugar
2
tablespoons
sake
2
tablespoons
mirin
3
tablespoons
soy sauce
Instructions
Cook
rice
While rice is cooking, prepare
broccoli
however you desire. In the video, I used previously blanched broccoli (90 seconds in salted, boiling water)
In an oiled frying pan, cook the
beef
slices until no longer raw.
In a bowl, whisk together the
sugar, sake, mirin,
and
soy sauce
. Add to the pan once uniform through out.
In a bowl, scramble the
eggs
Once the sauce is simmering, add
egg
to the pan and stir.
Once the egg is cooked, remove from heat and plate
meat
and
eggs
over bed of
rice
.
Add
broccoli
and garnish. Enjoy!
