Ingredients:

  • 1 small bowl, filled with calamansi
  • 3 cups water
  • ~1 ½ tbsp sweetener

Directions:

  1. Take a strainer and place it over a measuring bowl. The calamansi is small and soft enough for you to squeeze out the juice using your fingers. Press the soft fruit side against the strainer to squeeze out the most juice. Do this until you get about ½ cup of calamansi juice.
  2. Add about 3 cups of water to the ½ cup of calamansi juice. If you want a more mellow taste, feel free to add another cup of water.
  3. Take your sweetener and mix, mix, mix it into the juice until it has completely fused with the juice. If you are using honey like I am, use a spoon to scoop and stir the honey into the juice.

Voila! You’ve got your very own calamansi juice. Stick this in the freezer, or put some ice cubes in there on a hot day.
